Decrease value without affecting other values

    Sample.xlsxHello Everyone,

    Here is my problem.
I have created an inventory sheet that subtracts the parts from inventory (That are kept on a separate sheet eg. Part A, Part B) that are needed to assemble a Unit (eg. Unit X). We keep track of our units on this sheet.
However, every time we sell Unit X we subtract one from stock and Part A and Part B increase back to their original values.

Is there anyway to create a formula to have Part A and Part B decrease when Unit X is added to stock but not have them increase when Unit X is removed from stock.

    Best Regards!Sample.xlsx

Can you please attach your sheet?

In general, I would say this would require you to have a "sold stock" table that you use to keep track of sold parts. But I'd have to see it to be sure.

Hey Dan. I just added it!

Sheet 1 where it says Stock across from Glycol Tank MXA 2045 is the value that needs to change.

    Thanks!
