Massive Data Validation with Dropdown lists

I'm actually starting this thread to help someone else out. He's trying to mimic the data validation tricks in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kYzmBncec4 with 30,000 rows of info. The attachment should be here soon :-).

Hey man thanks so much for your help, I am attaching the workbook, it is an example of what my actual workbook is, I can't post the original because it contains sensitive information but its pretty much the same only difference is number of entries.
