    Sumproduct with offset

    I believe I need to use the offset function, but cannot get it to work. Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Change the formula in cell B12 to:

    =SUMPRODUCT((DATE(YEAR($B$1),MONTH($B$1),1)<=$C$3:$L$3)*$C$5:$L$5)-SUMPRODUCT((DATE(YEAR($B$1),MONTH($B$1)+3,1)<=$C$3:$L$3)*$C$5:$L$5)

    Re: Sumproduct with offset

    Assuming the date in B1 will always be the 1st of the given month/year

    =SUMPRODUCT(--($C$3:$L$3>=$B$1),--($C$3:$L$3<=EDATE($B$1,3)-1),$C$5:$L$5)

    Try this formula

    =SUM(OFFSET(C5,0,MATCH(B1,C3:L3)-1,1,3))
    Audere est facere
