Formulas to pull info based on certain special character

Having one of those mornings , i need to pull information left from a "separation character" mainly a semi colon. Currently i have created the function =LEFT(A2,LEN(A2)-FIND(";",A2)*1). This formula sometimes doesn't grab all data or grabs data to the right of the ";" examples in the attached file.

Mostly need help with grabbing everything left of the semi colon.

=LEFT(A2,FIND(";",A2)-1)
