    Using Text to represent Numbers for Mathmatical formulas

    I am trying to create a working formula that takes a text input that is associated with a number then multiplies together.

    Ex:

    Option 1*Option 2*Option 3

    Option 1:
    High=3
    Med=2
    Low=1

    Option 2:
    Yes=3
    Maybe-2
    No=3

    Option 3:
    Red=3
    Yellow=2
    Black=1

    High, Maybe, Red=3*2*3=18

    You could try a simple table method as shown in my attachment...
