Cool Converting a formula into just the results

Hi,
Is there a way to convert a cell from the formula I have to get the result into just the result? I am using Excel 2007
So in other words I have for instance a cell that has: Sum(A1+A2) which results in the answer 2. I would like to make the cell just read "2" and make the formula go away. I know I can cut and paste special and just ask for the results but I have images that wont paste so I want the change to occur in the same cell. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Matt

Maybe F2, F9, enter?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

FYI in the formula Sum(A1+A2) the SUM function is redundant

Thanks for the quick answer. Is there any way to select a large group of cells and change to just the results? If not, this will work.

Yes there is. the explanation takes a bit but it's easy to do
Select the group
Put mouse arrow against upper border of the selected region - it changes to a cross with arrows
Now hold down your right mouse button and you will see you can move the selection while holding the button down
Move it a bit and put it back into place ( or put it anywhere you like)
Release the button
A menu pops up
Click "Copy here as values only"
That's it

Or using Pepe's suggestion, highlight the range, CTRL C, then on the PASTE drop-down, select PASTE VALUES
