Hi,
OK, the title may not be 100% accurate, but it's the simplest thing I could think of.....
I have a list of 10 colours that I need to compare against a primary colour.
However, the colour only needs to be listed in another cell if it is different to the primary colour.
For example:
Primary Colour: Green (in Cell B2)
Colours: Red Blue Green Orange Purple Pink Yellow Black White Grey (in Cells D8:M8)
Each colour has been given a value (Default / Yes / No / Maybe), which can be selected from a Drop Down list and can therefore change.
If the value is different to the value of the Primary colour then display colour that is different, but if its the same, display the next colour that is different.
I could use the simple version of IF(D8=B2,"",D8), but I want to get it so no duplicates are shown and the list isn't spread over 10 columns. It needs to be condensed to only show the differences, without blanks.
Hopefully someone can help.....
Many thanks,
Simon
