Convert a formula with its value without copy and paste?

Hi!

I work a lot with text in excel and copy + paste special + value is a very common command.
It just feels like it should be a "real" command for convert the results in a field into it's value?
this would certainly remove the risk of manual error for me.

Anyone who knows?
