    Get Excel to Recognize 000

How do I Get Excel to Recognize "000" instead of recognizing it as a single "0". I tried formatting the cell but nothing happens

You have to enter it as a text entry.

Either preformat the cell as TEXT or precede the entry with a single quote like this: '000
