    Count dates without repetition

    Good morning:
    I have in column B list of dates, each one represent a lecture I did for the same topic, I need to know automatically in certain cell how many lecture (dates) without repetition.

    May be:
    =SUMPRODUCT(1/COUNTIF(Print_Area,Print_Area))

    I get 6 using bebo's suggested formula, isn't that the correct answer?

    It will work for the whole sheet, I have more than one column, I need it for each column alone or 2 columns together

    Sorry, I couldn't get you. Is that attached sheet working for you..?
    If yes, then similar approach of adding a helper column and count if will work for any number of columns.

    Please post the sample file with more data..

    You can use a revised version of bebo's suggestion which doesn't need helper columns, try this formula in B13 copied across

    =SUMPRODUCT((B1:B12<>"")/COUNTIF(B1:B12,B1:B12&""))
