Hi. I want know if there is a way to see if a certain cell has a specific font size. For instance, I want to say like if A1 is equal to font size 8.5, then keep. Thanks. Pat

you will need a UDF. Create a module for this function in your spreadsheet:
Then =Fontsize(A5) will tell you the fontsize for A5.Please Login or Register to view this content.
Oops, after posting I see that you have Mac Excel 2008. I don't think that supports VBA. So, there is no Excel function to tell you font size.

Oh no worry. I have PC excel 2013 that would work. Thank
How would I exactly put that into VBA? Thanks
Pat, just a bit of info...excel works with data - numbers/text/dates etc, formatting is a cosmetic change and is not data. Therefore, excel cannot "see" colors, fonts, bolds, underlines etc, you need VBA for that.
The formatting is just there to make it easier for people (humans, as opposed to PC's) to see things better, excel needs none of that to do it's job
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
