    currency rates into spreadsheet cells

I am seeking a way to have cells with currency rates automatically update via the internet. I will then reference these cells for other calculations. The rates can be todays or yesterdays, it doesn't have to be too exact. I presently have to manually input the rates each time I use the spreadsheet and it would be great to if it could be automated.

Attached is a sample spreadsheet. Thanks in advance for any assistance

Searching through other posts, I've found discreet weblinks for each exchange rate. However I'm still working on how to get the cells to update with the external info. Sheet attached.

Edit: also found the MSN Money link in Excel, but it is USD centric, so not a help

Experimenting further, I've found a way to automatically populate the cells by creating an extra sheet "FXRates" and using the Bloomberg Cross Rates Table http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/cur...s/cross-rates/ and referencing the cells with the needed rates - not elegant, but it works.

    To get this I used:

Data - From Web - Inserted Link & chose entire page (only possibility) - import - entered in cell A3 on FXRates sheet

Re: currency rates into spreadsheet cells

This still doesn't work. I've got the Bloomberg Cross Rates table going into the second sheet "FX Rates" to cell A3 and then the first sheet "Calc Sheet" has cells that reference the required three cells (using =FXRates!E81 for example).

It initially works, but on subsequent refreshes of the data, my required cells can move up/down the table a cell or two - it doesn't stay the same.

Any ideas or help on solving this? I'm just needing the highlighted cells to calculate the rates for GBP/USD, GBP/EUR and GBP/CHF.
