This one explains better
1 way would be to use a helper column (I used C, you can hide it if you want), and then use this copied down...
=WEEKNUM(A1)
Then to get your totals...
=SUMIF($D$1:$D$25,ROW(A1),$C$1:$C$25)
copied down
