In cell G5 and copy down:
=COUNTIF(A:A,F5)
In cell H5 and copy down:
=SUMIF(A:A,F5,C:C)

=COUNTIF($A$3:$A$20,$F5)
=SUMIF($A$3:$A$20,F5,$C$3:$C$20)

Excuse me, in the attached file, in column G5, G6, instead of 2, 3, I have typed 4,5.
so pl. drop the solutions accordingly.
You also have "Badam" in both catagories A & B.
Is this correct?
