linking 2 work books togeather

Good day,

I am a little bit confused as to handling "links" in an excel work book,

I have a master file that pulls information from other workbooks containing the raw data, lets call them raw1 and raw2

my issue starts when that for one link it stays even when the work book is closed, the other link doesn't,

this means that my master file shows the data from raw 1 and 2 when they are both open, when I close raw 2 no problem, when i close raw 1, all the data goes blank.

when I look at the difference in the formulas, raw1 only uses the files name, raw 2 data uses the entire url of where the file is located,

how can I enable raw 1 to behave in the same way as raw 2?

I understand I can write it manually, but is there a better way?
