Calculating AverageIF with conditions

I am trying to calculate the average of numbers that fall within a range is a column.

Example: I want to get the average of numbers that fall between 3.0 to 4.9 if Column J

I have tried several different ways but can not get the argument to work. Any help greatly appreciated.
