Hi all,
I asked for help here once before and was amazed how helpful everyone was. Now I have a problem that I'm not even sure how to describe. Thanks in advance for reading and attempting to help.
I need to look at two different worksheets with different column headers to find names that match in both. I'd like to isolate those names and their entire corresponding rows on a third sheet, or at least make them easily identifiable within one of those sheets. I don't know how to explain without background, so here:
Our customers rent oxygen concentrators from us on a monthly basis and we bill their Medicare. These same people can also get portable O2 tanks that can be carried around (a concentrator is stationary). Tanks eventually run out of O2, so we pick them up and replace them as needed or requested by customers (so each customer will have multiple tank orders in the system). Within the first 36 months of renting a concentrator, we cannot bill Medicare for tanks, as this service is included in the rental fee. Beginning in month 37, we may bill for tanks. To track the tanks we deliver, we still need to make an order in the system even if we can't bill. I need to find tank orders made after 36 months of rent so that I can create an order in the system that does bill Medicare.
So, I ran two reports:
-Oxygen concentrator rentals in their 37th month of billing or more
-All portable tank orders company-wide
I need to cross-reference the two sheets to determine which customers have gotten tanks some time since their 37th month of rent. So I need to align the customers' orders from the portable tank orders sheet with the customers' machine rental on the concentrator sheet to see if those orders occurred at least 36 months after they started using their machine.
To complicate matters, our Billing team has already identified some of these customers painstakingly and created the order that bills Medicare for the tanks. These orders use the item name (exactly) "GAS". I need to also find these people too so I know not to make duplicate orders.
I REMOVED NAMES AND CONFIDENTIAL INFO, BUT KEPT THE PATIENT IDs. That is what we'll use as names.
If you can even understand this, wow. If you can understand it and actually help me, WOW. Thanks for reading, and I hope someone can help. Feel free to ask follow up questions for clarification.
Thanks again!
