I'm looking for a formula that combines unique results for a VLOOKUP function (at least, I think that is the right function), where the column with results has different values for the same VLOOKUP value.

Thanks, that does the trick, however, in my case there are many multiple 'Companies' in table B1:C12. As a result, I will get a long horizontal list of values in table E16:G21 (so that table will have many columns). Is there a way to prevent this?Originally Posted by ramananhrm

Thanks, that seems to work, but would it be possible to exclude duplicates (see your results for Company D versus the desired output for Company D)?
Hi, the sample data would be many more rows of Company A, B, C and D with repeated Types (Type 1 and Type 2).
So duplicates in the source table.

By the way, when I want to run the macro (for a refresh), I get an "Argument not optional" error.
