Formula to find a match with different string lengths

I have Two columns of data where I am trying to make sure the numbers in both columns match.

For example, line 2

SearchTerm Customer material
0034 05 10 0034 05 10 MFG OBSOLETE

I just want to make sure that 0034 05 10 match in each column. The string length is not consistent.

I think there is an error in the formula because the below example returned true, however the string did not match. Only the first 4 numbers matched.


SearchTerm Customer material
5912 5912 28 59

SearchTerm / Customer material
5912 / 5912 28 59

The string of number is 5912 28 59. I need the formula to include all numbers, no letters. I want to see where the SearchTerm and the Customer material match on all numbers. If one number is off it is not a match.

The above example is not a match because the SearchTerm does not contain all the numbers in the Customer material.

I probably used the term string incorrectly.
