Question IF any cell in row is negative, THEN reference a diff cell in same column as negative cell

Sorry if the title is confusing..

So I am creating a spreadsheet for a series of last-time buy parts that are going to run out in a certain number of months depending on consumption. I have created a timeline that shows quantity on hand at any given month for a series of parts (I have attatched a pic for reference.) On a seperate sheet, I want to create a formula that will display the Month corresponding to the negative number in each row.LTBspreadsheet.jpg

If someone could help me out, it would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

If you can upload a pic, you should be able to upload an XLS. Please do.

Mike (or anyone else that can help),

Attached is the spreadsheet that I need help with. The data is on the "Run-Out Calander" tab and I want the corresponding results on the "Run-Out Results" tab. As you can see in the data, all the component numbers (with the exception of about ten components)are depleating over time and eventually, they will run out. I would like to get the month corresponding to the negative number in each row to show in the second column of the "Run-Out Results" tab.

If I could get some help with this problem, it would be much appreciated as I only have another few days to complete this.

    Thanks in advance,

It's probably going to take a VBA script to do this (not my forte) but here's a try...

I renamed the applicable sheets without dashes or spaces (those seem to cause some grief in referencing sheets in macros)

Also, the Rows you supplied on the results page are not quite lined up with those on the calendar (note correct spelling ;-) ) page - I didn't mess with them as I am out of time.

Have a go at it. Hope it helps.
