Conditional Formatting that highlights cells if data has changed

    Hi,

So I have two tabs with the same data from this week and the previous week.

The data from this week has changed to the data from last week.

I want to highlight all the cells that have changed in this weeks data (sheet 1) red by using conditional formatting. The data from last week is in sheet 2.

Any help with this please. In my example, the formula should highlight cells: C4, D4 and D6.

    Many thanks.example v76.xlsx

    Hello
You cannot directly reference another sheet in Conditional Formatting but you can reference a named range. Name Last Week's data (Sheet2 B3:D7) and apply the following Conditional Formatting formula to This Week's data on Sheet1 C3:D7:

    'LastWeek' is the named range.

    Hope this helps.

"You cannot directly reference another sheet in Conditional Formatting"

You can if you're using 2010, which the OP appears to be.

    Hi,

    It should be:

    =C3<>VLOOKUP($B3,LastWeek,COLUMNS($B3:C3),0)
