formula using INDEX/MATCH to retrieve multiple matches returned into one column

Hey guys..

I need help with a formula to search down col C of "PO QTY"and then create one long list on the "list" worksheet which lists every iteration of the part number and its matching "date" and "qty" for each instance. As you will see in the example, the part number is listed once but there may me many instances of "date" and "qty" to the right. I need a long list of all the parts and corresponding dates and qtys. Like this:

23101143 9/9/13 10
23101143 9/15/13 20
23101166 9/1/13 45

I will use this list in a pivot table later. I have attached an example. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.!! This has been a real stumper for me!!!index sample.xlsx

How did you arrive at the first row? 9/9/13 10?

If you want a realistic answer, you need to provide sample data and give realistic examples of your expected outcome
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: formula using INDEX/MATCH to retrieve multiple matches returned into one column

I need to return all part numbers with their corresponding dates/qtys. So the formula has to take this worksheet and convert it to one long list of three columns.

Re: formula using INDEX/MATCH to retrieve multiple matches returned into one column

the criteria is whether there is a date and quantity to the right of the part number. If there is then I need each date and quatity returned along with the cooresponding part number.

Re: formula using INDEX/MATCH to retrieve multiple matches returned into one column

An example would be data retrieved from "PO Qty":

23101143-LH 9/9/2013 20
23101143-LH 9/6/12 5
23101143-LH 1/10/14 1
23101144-RH 9/9/13 20
23101144-RH 9/9/13 20
23101144-RH 1/10/14 2
ETC...

I have highlighted the data I need extracted from "PO Qty" and returned into a list on "list" worksheet.
