Payroll Tax Calculator

Hi,

I am working on a spreadsheet that will calculate tax and national insurance for checking against the figures generated by our payroll system.

I am stuck on the formula to calculate tax at 45%.

I would be most grateful if someone could take a look. Excel file attached.

Have you tried this formula:
=IF(AQ5<AU5/52,0,(AQ5-(AU5/52))*0.45)
