    Copying formulas across 351 columns in excel

    Hi all,

    I wish to copy a formula across in excel leaving 2 blank columns after every set of data.

    For Instance: in Sheet1 column A1 i have a value
    '' '' B1 i have a different value

    Now I wish to copy in Sheet2 in column A1 the value =Sheet!A1
    '' '' '' D1 the value = Sheet!B1

    I wish for such a formula to drag across. I have read other posts but in those they have wished for data to skipped rather than allocated to a different column. I have also left 2 columns intentionally blank and dragged but excel has failed to notice the pattern.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    perhaps in sheet2 A1:

    =INDEX(Sheet1!1:1,(COLUMN()-1)/3+1)

    then select A1:C1 and fill right and then down as necessary

    if at first you don't succeed try doing it the way your wife told you to
