calculate number of cells with two criterias

    Hello

I am not really good at excel and would need your kind help

I would like to calculate a sum of cells with two criterias

in a first column, I have transactions( either "Paid", or "Cancel")
then in a second column, I have figures from 0 to 1000, corresponding to a transaction.

I would like to know how many cells from the second column have a figure between 300 and 400, if the first column is "Paid".

    Thak you so much !!

Re: calculate number of cells with two criterias

    Thx, I changed the title.

Thx you AYData, but it seems it doesnt work...

On my sheet, it would look like this : =COUNTIFS(B1:B100000;"Paid";O1:O1000000;">300";O1:O1000000;"<400")

    And its written VALUE!...

Works on the sheet I made. (I see ; in your formula, is that a country difference instead of , between criteria ?)

Yeah this is due to the country I am in I guess.

I tried again with O:O and not O1:O100000 and it works now !

    Thank you a lot !!!

Re: calculate number of cells with two criterias

I just noticed that you do not have matching ranges in there...

    =COUNTIFS(B1:B100000;"Paid";O1:O1000000;">300";O1:O1000000;"<400")
    change to
    =COUNTIFS(B1:B100000;"Paid";O1:O100000;">300";O1:O100000;"<400")
    or
    =COUNTIFS(B1:B1000000;"Paid";O1:O1000000;">300";O1:O1000000;"<400")
    all the ranges must be the same size, the 1st 1 is 100 000, the 2nd 2 are 1 000 000
