This is the best solution I have found so far (not the Kutools bit, the bit before)

Does anybody have any better ideas. Thanks

Hi,
Have you experienced difficulties with that particular solution?
Regards
No its just more time consuming than anything. I was hoping for something along the lines of a paste special shortcut, thanks
Interesting, as I find it extremely quick (perhaps we differ on this definition!), i.e. when I apply a Find and Replace en masse, copy, paste, reverse Find and Replace.
Perhaps you have many separate ranges on which you need to perform this operation, which rules out an en masse Find and Replace?
Regards
Well I find that when you highlight a selection, you have to click replace, replace, replace, replace 100 times, because if you choose replace all, that will replace all items even outside the area you highlighted before selecting Ctrl f.
Do you suffer the same?
No.
Using Replace All, Excel will only perform the replace for those cells within the area you have highlighted , provided it is more than one cell and provided that you have the Within: box set to Sheet, NOT Workbook.
Regards
Wow what a bizarre set of rules, how on earth did you learn them? and thanks
Haha!! Through experiencing the agony of doing what you were previously doing!
And you're welcome.
Haha nice very much appreciated
I found that this works pretty well. Highlight the formula in the formula bar, Ctrl +C + Esc. Select the cell where you want the formula and Ctrl +V.
Just selecting the cell with the formula and copying will not do what you want.
