Conditional Formatting

    Progress Report ex.xlsm

    Folks,

I am working on a progress report for work and my boss wants me to add some conditional formatting to a few of the 'user input' cells. The progress report is separated by month through different sheets (i.e. sheet 1 = Jan, 2 = Feb, ..., etc). The progress is tracked by a percentage. On the first sheet, the user enters what percent the job is completed. I have formatted the cell so once it is filled the cell changes color. The issue I am having stems from the second sheet and every sheet after.

I have a formula in the percentage complete cell that will copy the previous month so the user doesn't need to change anything if no progress was made that month. However, conditional formatting doesn't seem to work because the cell is never blank and always contains some sort of text.

Is there a way to format the cell to change color if the user changes it from the formula that was previously inputted?

I can upload an example if this makes no sense.

    Thanks,
    J

EDIT: I added the workbook. Schedule & Budget, Burn Curve, and 1 work as intended. On '2', the column labeled "Percent Complete" is where I am trying to make the edit. I want these cells to change to the same format as the cell next to them (i.e. white or grey) if the user changes the cell from the current formula/value. Same issue on tabs 2-48. Thanks.

I think it be a big help if we could see what you are working with
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
    3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
