    DAX formula question

    Hi Everyone
I am trying to use the ALLEXCEPT DAX function and keep getting the below error. I have tried variations of this, but cannot get it to work. Does anyone see anything wrong syntax-wise?

The "s1Counties" is a table and the "s1Counties[cnty_name]" is the column I do not want the filter removed from the

    Formula: =ALLEXCEPT(s1Counties,s1Counties[cnty_name])

Error: "The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value."

I use 2007 as well, and I cannot find that function. Is it an add-in or a UDF?

OK, OP's profile says 2007, maybe it needs to be updated
