Reverse rolling weeks from today's date?

Hi folks,

Desperate for help here.

I need a formula that will allow me to pivot out rolling weeks in reverse - so if A1= today's date or within the last 7 days, A2 returns 1. If B1 was 8-14 days ago, B2 returns 2. 15-21 days ago, return 3, etc.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try

=CEILING(TODAY()-A1,7)

That's sort of working - it returns values that would number my weeks 7, 14, 21, 28 instead of weeks numbered 1, 2, 3, 4
