I'm making a report that will pull information from another report. I'm doing this to automate month end reports and I'd like the report I'm making, to require little input except to hit F9.
In order to do this, I want to populate the Amount, Price, Market Value, and percentage columns with the respective values in the respective files. I also dont want to update each and every cell value so that it references the new month end. So, I don't know if this is the most efficient way, but I thought I could use a master file location and have each cell use that, plus the corresponding cell location in the correct file. Confusing...yeah.
On the attached, what im after is G8 to first take the extension located in C3, plus the specific cell in the sheet of C3.
Is there any easier way to do this? Im sure a macro could do that but i have no experience with that so can't utilize that.
