Using a FillDown method for a column with filtered rows

I am trying to use the FillDown method to copy a function in a column to the filtered rows of that column. I created a macro to do so. I get a Run-time error '1004': FillDown method of Range class failed error when I attempt to run the macro. What's going wrong?

Re: Using a FillDown method for a column with filtered rows

Can you copy the formula, select the range of cells, press F5, click Special, select "Visible cells only", press OK. Then ctrl+v?

If you want to apply it to a macro, then you would have to select visible cells then paste.
