Conditional Formatting with formula to check if the row is correct

Im trying to use a conditional formatting to check if the sum of a group of columns = to a specific cell

Im using it as a check tool to make sure that the payments split across 12 months = the total payment which should be received...

    Please see sheet attached

Im trying to highlight columns V to AH in RED, IF the sum of Columns V to AH does NOT equal Column AI

I entered the formula =SUM(V3:AH3)<>AI3 But it highlights it in Red when it IS correct, and also for some reason does not want to highlight column V

    Please help Me

    Thank you!

    Use this rule

    =SUM($V3:$AH3)<>$AI3

    applied to $V$3:$AH$3
