Combining two formulas into 1 cell

I'm a noob to creating an excel tool (always been the end user) and probably breaking this forum's rule, but I really need help.

How would I combine these two formulas into one cell "G4" and have the 2nd formula supersede the first? Is it possible?


=IF(E4>1,"12")

=12-F4

Thanks for your reply. I actually need the first formula to supersede the second. I tried swapping around within formula myself, but would get a TRUE instead of "12"

Dunno what you mean; maybe

=if(e4>1, 12-f4, 12)
