Display Cell within VLookup range that excel thinks matches the VLookup Value

just wondering, is there a formula that will display the cell that excel thinks matches the lookup criteria?

    specific case:

my vlookup is for a column of data, and one of the cells within the lookup column is actually a blank cell. Within the lookup range, there are no blank cells, but I am still getting a result.

My suspcision is that it is returning based on one of the cells within the range being the number zero (0), so therefore (empty cell) = 'zero' in excel's eyes, but I would like a formula to confirm this suspicion 100%.

Can you show up what your specific VLOOKUP formula is?

    =VLOOKUP(B4952,'File 1'!$B$2:$G$238,6,0)

the lookup value is a blank cell (B4952), the lookup range ($B$2:$G$238) has one zero (0) cell in Column 'B', where 6 to the left of it is the result that was returned. The result appears within other instances within the lookup range, so I cannot be 100% sure that the zero cell is being intepreted as matching the Blank cell lookup value.
