I have created a data validation list in excel, it looks up to a list of Range names on a seperate tab of the spreadsheet. I then have a table of information with sumif formulas that look up to the data validation list, so whenever I pick a different range on the list, the table is updated automatically. This then pulls into a graph, which is the end result I am trying to achieve
My problem is that when I save and close the workbook, the next time I open it and try to use the data validation list, the formattintg has gone, so I have to re-do the data validation list every time I open the workbook. I have a number of these tables in the workbook, and have to re-do 7 different data validation lists each time
Is it possible to stop this from disappearing every time I close the workbook down? I tried to use a combo box, but I couldn't figure out how to get the data in the table to look up to the combo box, as it's not a cell destination
Any help would be greatly appreciated
