Personal Macro - cannot use on another pc

Good afternoon all,

Right, getting rage at work . This is so simple i know but my mind has gone completely blank as i havent done this in years.

I have created a macro for an excel sheet. It works perfectly. However i have sent this sheet out via email for another to use but when they run it they get error 440 debug or personal cannot be found.

How can i redo this macro on my pc so i can send it out and it will work.

Note to self , never save macro to personel

Hi, Swindonwhite,

save the workbook as macro-enabled and copy the code into the workbook - you might need to adjust how the macro is called. Or make an AddIn from the code you have (which the other users need to install on their machines). Or sent them your personal macro book and explain where to store it in order to work,
