Can you state your expected result?
Your dropdown does not work for me and then there is a link to extral workbook in your Named Manager.

the drop down list contains:
< $1.0m potential P&L impact
> $1.0m potential P&L impact
Expected result should be that cell shades when drop down value of > $1.0m potential P&L impact is selected and an integer of less 1 million is input. Alternatively if < $1.0m potential P&L impact is selected from the drop down and an integer of greater than 1 million is input then the cell should also shade in the scenario.

don't see a link between your formula & the question, but this does what you want in post # 3:
=AND(OR(C5=$C$15,C5=$C$16),D5<$C$17)

Hi all
My apologies if am not quite sure how much more clearer I can explain my issue.
I have attached another workbook which sets out 3 scenarios in separate TABS.
Scenario 1 and 2 the formula works.
The 3rd scenario explains the issue and explains what my expected result should be.
Thank you for your patience all.
PS just updated the workbook as i noticed a few careless mistakes in my example. Should make sense now.
