    Using Tables

    Hi All,

I am using an IF(OR formula to extract a predetermined value from a table but it doesn't work.

If I simply type over the cell in the table it does and produces the answers that I need.

For example, the table is full of data I don't need so I extract what I want onto another sheet by just pressing = and selecting the cell I want to duplicate.

In the next available cell I type my formula and don't get an answer. yet if I type into the cell I am looking at referencing it does work...

Any ideas what might be wrong.

    Hi JakeMan,

There could be 101 reasons what might be wrong however your explanation does not shed the light. Please attach a sample worksheet of the data and what you expect it to show as an end result.

    Re: Using Tables

    Ok, I've attached.

In the Data sheet column K (yellow one!) contains the formula.

It is matching the value in A1 against the value in A1 in Sheet3.

The firs instance of the value matching the value in Sheet3 is row 130. It doesn't give me an answer, but if I type in the value over the original in A130 it does.

    Any suggestions?
