I am trying to calculate how many labor hours are being used at each hour of the day based on people's start and end times.
As it stands right now, I am not really sure where to start, but I have uploaded an excel template that just needs the formula in each hour of the day.Calculate Labor by Hour.xlsx
Just out of curiosity and for clarity, based on your attached spreadsheet you note that at 10 am there were 1.75 hours used, wouldn't it be 2.00 based on what appears to be the only person's time who clocked in prior to 10?

What I am looking for is how many hours are being used each hour. John fully worked between 10-11 and Sally worked 45 minutes in that same hour. Therefore 1.75 hours used.
I hope that explains what I need.
SOLVED. 5 hours later, I managed to work it out and was able to add in all the other criteria I was looking to calculate.
