    Vlookup formula query

    Hi, please see this formula

    VLOOKUP($C64,'Actual Sales'!$B$162:$K$186,2,0)

    i would like to know if it is possible to get the referencing column "2" in the formula automatically changed to "3" as i drag the formula sideways

    right now, i am manually changing the "2" in the formula to "3", "4" , 5" etc as I copy the formula sideways

    Re: Vlookup formula query

    You could try to change "2" to something like row(A2) -down

    Edit: "sideways"use column()

    Re: Vlookup formula query

    i think you mean this
    VLOOKUP($C64,'Actual Sales'!$B$162:$K$186,columns($a$1:b$1),0) that will start at 2 then increment 3,4,5,6,7......
