I have struggled with an Excel problem and I need help. Each time I generate the numbers instead of getting two distinct number (Male, Female), I end up with about 4 distinct numbers. That was I realized I was not doing something right. I will appreciate your help.
Excel Problem:
-----------------
Use the binomial distribution in the Data Analysis add-in to simulate the distribution of men and women among the next ten arrivals at an emergency room, assuming that, on average, six people out of ten who arrive are men. Generate a random seed using =RAND(). Simulate the arrival of fifty sets of ten people. Use =COUNTIF() function to determine how many of the fifty sets of ten people will be all men and how many will be nine men and one woman.
Thank you.
