Hi

I have a peculiar problem I never encountered before that I hope someone here can help me sort out. I hope my explanation isnt too complicated!

I have worked with Excel for many years so I consider myself quite familiar with the programme but alas. Here goes:

After saving the file, when reopening it, a warning pops up saying (roughly translated from danish): "There was found unreadable content in 'filename'. Would you like to recreate the project briefs content? If you trust the source of the project bried, click Yes".

So after a lot of investigation ruling out the possible causes, I have come down to this:

Some cells are calculating a percentage value of the neighboring cell. Lets call that cell PV and the neighboring cell N. A different cell, T, calculates a total value, and is adding the cell N + other cells.
N gives the result of a sum formula of many other cells. And PV gives N as a percentage of T.

Okay.

When the sheet is left without any numbers plotted in, all is good. No problems. But when numbers are put in, and the cells "start calculating", the error occurs. BUT! The error doesnt occur when the numbers are plotted in! But after saving the file, and re-opening it, the warning comes up. And in the PV cells now it says "#VALUE". But retracing the steps, there are no mistakes in the formulas. And in fact, I can go directly to the PV-cell that now says #VALUE, put the cursor in the formula and just push Enter. And then its calculating correct, and without mistakes. Unless I save and re-open. Then same mistake is there.

WHATS GOING ON????

I hope I made my self understandable!

Thanks in advance.

Anders
