If a cell has a text value then next one must have a percentage.

I am new to conditional formatting and have grasped the basics, I now need help on the following, When i state "Client" in A1 i need B1 to appear "15%", is this possible?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Conditional Formatting - HELP!!

    Hi.

    Welcome to the forum.

Yes. But this is not conditional Formatting!

    In B1 put this formula.

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Format as percentage.

Re: If a cell has a text value then next one must have a percentage.

If you have few clients you can use multiple if..BUT the correct way is to create a table with all your clients and their percentages and then use INDEX&MATCH for getting your results.

As you said that you are new to this and perhaps you can not handle it take a look to a small example.
