    SUMIF brain freeze !!

    Hi

Appologies if this is simple for some but it's driving me mad at the moment !!!

I need a review of weekly spending and cannot for the life of me work the formula out.

I have a cost in column H, a week number in column D and need a weekly review in column O (starting at (O2))

Can anyone suggest a SUMIF formula that will provide me a weekly spend total please.

    Thanks for any help

    Andy

    Hi Andy.

Try in O2 and copy down.

    =SUMIF(D:D,D2,H:H)

With Excel 2007 and above, you could use SUMIFS.

With Excel 2003, you'd typically use SUMPRODUCT. Look for examples; there are lots about.
