    Rank values based on criteria

I'm trying to create a spreadsheet that ranks employees based on certain metrics. In this case it's quality. In the attached workbook, I receive it sorted by employee then month. I want to use the RANK() function to rank each employee based on their quality score (column D) for the month. This list will grown and shrink, from month to month, so I can't hardcode a range in.

Let me know if you need more information.

    Try this:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This will rank based solely on the values in Column D. If you add more rows, it will when executed calculate based upon the number of rows. This will put the rankings in Column G

You will have to save the file as an .xlsm (macro enabled file)

Where do you want the ranks to appear?

Can you repost the file with your expected results?
