Conditional Formatting- Traffic Lights - Using Formulas

    I'm struggling with this one.

I have a spreadsheet which has two columns (M & N) which illustrate the Annual Target Total vs. The Actual Total.

I would like to be able to show a traffic light in column N which identifies whether the actual target was anywhere near the annual target.

E.G. Was N2 equal or larger to M2 - if so, green light.
Was N2 equal or larger to M2-5000 - if so, yellow light.
Was N2 equal or smaller to M2-5000 - if so, red light.

    Is this possible?

I've attached the file for information.

    Thankyou

    Nikki

Nikki my suggestion is to use only colors to fill cells. I don't believe that the lights should work under these conditions that you describe.

Thank you for your help. I'd kind of got my heart set on using the icons. So, I've played with the data a bit and introduced a new coloumn which shows the actual as a percentage of the target and applied the icon set to it. Green - 99.9%, Amber 85%, Red - everything below. For some reason though it still won't work. See attached.
