First post: Connecting table info to one cell using IF statements.

    Hi,

I have four drop down options and I am trying to have the total for each category summed up in different cells at the bottom of the table.
For example, anytime 'Marketing' is chosen the amount is added to the total in D32.

I know that I am on the right track, I just need a bit of guidance.

    File attached.

    Thanks.

    In D32

    =SUMIF($C$5:$C$27,A32,$H$5:$H$27)

    Copy down
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
