Replicating a formula with a constant cell within it

This should be easy, I am making formula's where some cells require to stay the same. I have been using open office recently where you just enter for instance A$3$ which will keep this as a constant no matter where you replicate the formula on a spreadsheet.

This is a full formula that I need the cell G3 to rmain always as G3:

    =(G3*(E4-1)-(G3*(E4-1))/100*5)

    Thanks

This will make G3 an absolute reference.

Just wondering..your formula can be shortened (and simplified) to

    =$G$3*(E4-1)*(1-1/20)

    or even

    =$G$3*(E4-1)*19/20
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
