Compare cells in adjacent columns

Hello,
I have a spreasheet whi 26 columns and 100s of row of data. I want to compare data from cell B2 to C2, D2 to E2, F2 to G2, etc.
I can Write a formula like C2-B2, E2-D2, G2-F2 and so forth (12 times to compare 24 sets of columns). Question that I have is there a way i can automate this instead of typing 12 times. I cannot drag the formula to the right as the column will compare b2-c2, then d2-c2 etc.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Find the file attached as required. Desired result is shown in columns M to Q. Keep in mind that the actual spresheet has lots of columns thus typing a basic formula multiple times seems excessively time consuming task. I am pretty sure there should be a workaround.

Hello Sam, As per of your data your requirement is to take every second column(i.e.2,4,6,8,10) and deduct from every odd column i.e.1,3,5,7,9 etc. And you have forgotten to add field F1 and did the calculation of F1 into E1.

find the attached. Copy and paste the formula, adjust the references i.e. $A$2:$L$5 then drag across and top to bottom.
