Display data from all excel files in a folder

Sorry if this has been solved, I can't find in the search anything on this. I need to be able to pull information from all workbooks in a folder. Each workbook has a worksheet with the same name and format that the information needs to come from. The workbooks are randomly named so there isn't a way to specify specific workbook names. Also, the workbooks can't be open to retrieve that data. Any ideas or links would be greatly appreciated.

First: I think you need VBA, so you must post the thread on "Excel Programming / VBA / Macros" not on this "Excel Formulas & Functions",
you can ask admin to move this thread to that forum.

Second: I don't know VBA, but I get this on other forum, may be this relevant with your problem
